Yup, this new site sucks.
Big brother's little brother owns you now. This is how martial law will be in a year or so...

 

I joined this forum about 2 minutes ago and each page takes about 1 to 5 seconds to load for me to read. Slow loading might not be the forum's fault?

I'm a member in 4 different Volvo forums and of them all this one has tended to be generally (but not always) the slowest in page refresh speed.
Having said that it takes nothing like 30 seconds as some are finding.
It's probably down to each individuals ISP or their own computer browser.
One needs to understand that when the site is busy the server will naturally take a bit longer to respond due to the load.

 

Wondered if any other members are lately (this week particularly bad) noticing very slow server performance on the forum, especially when logging in and for the first few minutes of browsing after eventually getting logged in?
Past that early point the speeds seems to improve hugely and is thereafter quite responsive.
Browsing elsewhere whilst this is occurring the internet speeds are perfectly normal so fairly sure its the forums servers?

 

i have never experienced any such a loading trouble as it has been quick to me

Problem is still occurring for me. 30/01/14
Log in taking sometimes close to 30 seconds, also browsing the main index page very slow to change.
After getting into New Posts everything suddenly speeds up to normal. Okay from then on.
Very strange and frustrating.
All other web browsing elewhere is normal speeds.

 

VERY slow loading..... :-(

IB (Internet Brand) the owners of the site don't appear to give a crap, they also have major issues with overseas spammers, all they appear to care about is attracting advertisers.......

Seen this on some of their other sites........shame... :-(

 

Lately (in last few weeks) FF (v27.01) is super slow to load and eventually locks up completely. Tried using IE instead; very slow too, but so far hasn't locked up.


Don't see this behavior on other sites. Please fix!
