Hello all.

I have an 86 740 wagon that has had a melted fuse #1 for as long as I have had the car (about 4 years) I am going to be giving it to my son soon and want to make sure everything is reliable. The fuse has been melted to the fuse box slot #1 but is still functioning fine. I just wanted to know if I should mess with it to eliminate future problems, or just leave it? It has never not worked and everything is operating as usual. What causes this and what would I do to prevent future problems? Thanks
