1984 244 brake lights not working
Hello. as mentioned in the title, my 1984 Volvo 240 sedan's brake lights are not working.
When purchased a few months ago they both worked. For the past week or so only the drivers side light was operational. I replace the bulb in the passenger side, with no luck. I was messing around with the connections of the light bulb housing (if thats what you would call it) to the circuit board with no luck, does definitely look worn.
I switched the passenger side with the drivers side (working side) with no luck making the non working side work. Went to put the drivers side (working side back, and now that side doesn't work either. I have no brake lights now.
Took the turn signal light out, put what was my last working brake light in, and the signal light still worked.
So. Being that both areas of the brake light circuit board area looking worn, do you believe this is the issue? Being that ALL other lights work (taillights, turn signals, reverse).
Or could there be some more trouble shooting I can attempt prior to that?
Thank you for any feedback.
