Hello fellow Volvo owners . I am having trouble getting the correct Park Brake Cable to fit this car . There is the main center cable which is working well. I took off the left and the right and laid them on the table. When the new cables came in I found the right was correct but the left was 14 inches too short . The Volvo dealer in Halifax says the cable should be 23 inches yet the one I took off was Approx. 44 inches . Sitting here scratching my head. Maybe some one can help?

Don't just take everything Volvo has to say about these old cars as advice. They havent worked on them in years, and when I took my 1990 sedan 740 there they scratched their heads, I am talking about the Halifax one as well. They usually only see the newer cars in those places.
