Just purchased this 2000 S80 and after a while discovered that no sound was coming from the left side speaker
(frt & rr), right side was fine. Tried the radio balance, but no help. They can't be blown, think it's radio problems? Any ideas?

 

Swap a speaker from right to left. If you still have no sound, slide the radio out and make sure the connector is in the rear of it tightly. If that is good, you may want to swap a radio from a junk yard or something.

WARNING: Make sure you have the radio code before you go removing the radio.

 

I dont think these have codes in this model.

 

I was referring to the security code to get the radio unlocked in the event you remove power from it by unplugging it.

 

I know, i am pretty sure these do not have it.

 

Oh, are they easy to remove like the ones in the 90's model cars?

 

No, these are those big things like S60s. Its with the CCM, little more difficult.
