It's my first time posting here, and I hate to start off with a problem, but I am a fairly new owner of this XC90 and it is all a mystery to me. What I am noticing is a rumbling noise coming from either the rear or center of the vehicle when turn the wheel at slow speeds, the more I turn the wheel the more noticeable the noise, and throttling results in the noise to sort of pulse.
Say for example I am turning at an open intersection, I gas out of the turn and as the wheel is turned it will pulse that light grumble "grum... grum... grum..." then when the wheel is straight, all is well. Pulling into a parking lot and turn the wheel almost all of the way and just coasting around causes the wheel to nearly shake and rumble. Just curious if anyone knows exactly what I'm talking about before I crawl under it in the snow or pay someone to do so, thanks in advance.
