Hi all, so I was told by a tech mec shop that the car needs a new engine harness, upon testing the wiring they found interruptions in continuity with the wires for the camshaft position sensor (exhaust side) but these harnesses are on back order for 6 months.
Anyone has a better idea?

 

If the problem is localized to the wires of the exhaust side camshaft position sensor, it's not necessarily necessary to replace the entire wiring harness. You can locate the broken wires, strip them carefully, and then solder them back together or use insulated automotive repair connectors.
