I am a loyal Volvo owner. Went to order a new 2011 S40. The wind deflector that pops up when the moonroof is opened has been significantly changed from my 2005 S40. The wind deflector is now very tall (3") and made of cloth. Not only will this capture a tremendous amount of dust/dirt, it will be a virtual bug net... nearly impossible to clean. During a test drive of the 2011, I also noticed the wind deflector made an annoying, high pitched whistle! My 2005 has a sleek, low profile plastic wind deflector that pops up when the moonroof is opened and it works great. This is such a terrible change, it is enough for me to stray and go with a new BMW. Hope Volvo changes back ASAP so I can stay with the S40 model that I love. Looking forward to any comments or ideas...
