I wonder if anyone has any suggestions on this, before I tear the rest of my hair out! I have a 1996 850 estate, on which the heater/climate control fan fails to come on when set to either auto or manual. The resistor has been confirmed as OK, and the motor is free running. It will come on if the outside temp. drops to -3 or so, but at no other time. I understand there are a number of temperature sensors inside the car; are these likely to be at fault? I am getting a fault warning on startup from the two amber lights on the climate control panel.
