I'm pretty sure the spark plugs are suppose to be changed every 30,000 miles.

Not sure if this will effect your auto tranny much but if you bump the car into N while waiting at a stop light will save you some gas. My car burns .58 gallons per hour when in drive (stopped idle) and .36 gallons per hour when in neutral or park.

might be a great deal of stuff: dirty valves, blocked energy injectors, incorrect O2 indicator, and so on...
