So I bought that 1997 850 R Wagon. I have noticed that my Valance is different that other 850 Rs. Is this because mine is a fake? I have included a photo. The interior has alcantra seats, and the premium stereo. I have a tough time believing that the family I bought it from converted it to an R but who knows.

That's an 850 Platinum Edition front spoiler. They could have hit a curb or something with it, and that was the cheapest route to fix it. I searched your VIN and the Vehicle make came up as 1997 Volvo 850 R.

Not trying to be a downer but Good Luck finding one fairly cheap.

They are pretty pricey. There is also alot of people looking for them to upgrade the bumpers on the Non-R cars.

 

well maybe I can hold off for a little while, any idea on how much I m looking at without paint?

 

Dealership and Viva Performance sell them so you can check both of them out. Also check Erie Vo Vo.

 

I think they're right around 350 from viva. You can find used ones once in a while for about 200, but they would cost about just as much for shipping, I think they're about 150 to ship.
