Default '93 Volvo 240 backup lights wiring

I have a 1993 240 with non-working backup lights. I am trying to determine the complete power route to those lights. Here's what I think ... would appreciate verification or correction -

Power comes from fuse #5 via the blue wire to the neutral position switch. From here power goes from the neutral position switch through a red/black wire to the driver's side rear tail light connector. Since this connector has two red/black wires (terminals 1 and 2) I presume the other one goes to the passenger side backup light. Is this correct? Are there other electronics involved?

Thanks
