Hi,
My 94 940 wagon has the dangerous habit of dropping out of park and into reverse if it is parked at idle. I'm guessing the shifter linkage needs adjusting. Is there a rebuild kit I can get with all the necessary replacement bushings,rods,.etc.; and will that solve the problem? Or could there be another cause?

Check the bushings on the control rod - we have these and they are cheap. Is the **** locked in place in part when it does this?
