Daft question I feel sure, but what if any performance upgrades are available for this the more basic of the 850 range, the 10 valve 2.5 ltr GLT?

If it is a NA motor and not a turbo they are limited. I would install an aftermarker air filter, I'm partial to the K & N brand. You'll get more air flow that way and more air equals more horsepower. Don't really know of any other upgrades.
