I can no longer lower the driver's window on my car. I can lower the other three windows, but can't raise the front passenger window! I've perused this very cool forum, and know the culprit is the master window switch. My husband begs to differ, and says it is either the window motor, or the window regulator.

Can someone please confirm my suspicions? I've tried explaining that my motor and/or regulator would NOT affect the front passenger window function, but he doesn't catch on.

 

That is usually the window switch that is bad. If he still doubts then have him test the switches and motors with a test light to confirm.

The window switches are very common to go bad.
