Evening, all.
I've just replaced the control arms on my V70, everything went wel but I noticed afterward there was a new clunk occasionally. I took the wheel off again and notice a bit of play where the ball joint meets the knuckle. I torqued the **** out of it (knowing that I had a spare). I got about another turn out of it with my 36" breaker bar, still had the play. Torqued it a bit more and it snapped.

Anyone had similar trouble?
I wedged it open pretty good to get the old part out, but I can't imagine that's the problem given the amount of force I applied.

Any help would be appreciated.
