Whoo it is hot! I drive long distances and after about 1.5 to 2 hours, the AC stops blowing into the cabin of my 2001 S60. I can hear the fan blowing full blast, but nothing is coming out of any of the vents. Any help?

Have the evap temp sensor checked. I will bet the evap is freezing up due to the sensor being bad.

 

I'll do that, but wouldn't there still be air coming out of the vent? There is no breeze at all, but I can hear the fan blowing behind the dash.

 

NO if it is frozen all the vents through the evap (Fins and coils are frozen solid blocking all the air going through the evap. If is happens again before taking it in just turn the A/C button to off. Leave the fan on high I will bet it will only take a few minutes before air comes out. I will also bet it is cool air coming out.

If you wanted to and had almost nromal hand tools you can replace it yourself.
