A/c in the Volvo V70R isn't blowing cold air anymore. Got to work, popped the hood and noticed the clutch on the front of the compressor wasn't cycling on and off. No condensation on the lines either, nor any condensation on the ground. Not sure exactly where to start or what to do. I do know that if there isn't any freon in the system the compressor won't cycle. Maybe I can get one of the recharge kits from Advance Auto w/ the gauge and try to see if there is any pressure in the lines myself?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

 

Went back out after the whole engine got a chance to cool down, and it blew cold. At work so didn't get a chance to run it for a good while, but I popped the hood and saw the clutch was engaged. Im not sure what the deal is, but it shouldn't just intermittently work when it wants. Lol. Any ideas??
