I am considering buying a '73 Volvo 144 in Portsmouth, NH this week and could really use some advice/mechanical check out before I make my move. This is probably too much to ask, but I am looking at the car this Saturday at 11am if anyone in the seacoast NH region is available to check it out with me!

I have to agree it seems a bit pricey...especially from the rust belt. Still, the venerable 140 will have its day in the sun, dollar wise.
