Battery Drain 1996 850 GLT
Hey I have a 1996 850 GLT. I've had it since 2007 and it's been great except it currently has a drain to the battery causing me to disconnect it every time I get somewhere and reconnect before I go.
I checked it with a multi-meter and removed the fuses one by one and did not find anything there. It is not the battery itself we checked that. |

Battery drain?
i have a 13 inch tv/vcr and a playstation 2 plugged into a 700 watt power inverter. although i have no problems powering them up, i can only get about 45 minutes of use before my battery is drained in my car. is there any way i can avoid this battery drain or is there any way i can hook it up to where i don't use my battery, like some kind of quiet generator like they use in motorhomes. i also plan on getting satellite tv if that's possible in my car.

What does that mean? Did you ck for parasitic draw? Boxpin did a really good how-to-diag thread on that; think it's a sticky somewhere...
Thanks *I'm not sure that current is the right word I do not know electrics yet. |
