Default Battery Drain 1996 850 GLT

Hey I have a 1996 850 GLT. I've had it since 2007 and it's been great except it currently has a drain to the battery causing me to disconnect it every time I get somewhere and reconnect before I go.

I checked it with a multi-meter and removed the fuses one by one and did not find anything there.

It is not the battery itself we checked that.

What does that mean? Did you ck for parasitic draw? Boxpin did a really good how-to-diag thread on that; think it's a sticky somewhere...

Default Battery drain?

i have a 13 inch tv/vcr and a playstation 2 plugged into a 700 watt power inverter. although i have no problems powering them up, i can only get about 45 minutes of use before my battery is drained in my car. is there any way i can avoid this battery drain or is there any way i can hook it up to where i don't use my battery, like some kind of quiet generator like they use in motorhomes. i also plan on getting satellite tv if that's possible in my car.

I think what we did is checking for a parasitic draw. We hooked up the multi-meter and removed fuses one by one to see how that effects the current*. No individual fuse caused a real shift in the current. I checked boxpins thread but didn't find anything to do

Thanks

*I'm not sure that current is the right word I do not know electrics yet.

Easy solution - solar! Get 3 "RV" kits, 12 47X21 panels will get you a hair over 1000 watts. Will play hell with aerodynamics (so will the sat dish though. and you can kiss your sunroof goodbye
