my 88 240 dl cant do one how can i make more power to do so or at lease break taction

 

What is a "Break Stand"?

Your NA your not going to make much power if any unless you spend a lot of money.

1. Turbo your car.

2. Custom SuperCharge your car.

3. Engine transplant your car

4. If anything your going to want to do a manual transmission swap to handle good power. The crappy automatic wont handle it very well.

 

As I recall, a brake stand is when you lock up the brakes and spin out the tires... I've only ever seen it done with rear-wheel drive cars - I'm not sure of the details, but I assume they have a way of locking up only the front brakes...

when you hold the brake down and press on the gas at the same time. only works on rear-wheel cars. produces a lot of smoke and tire marks on the hot top
that kid just left major marks and a lot of smoke after doing a brake stand

 

You can do it with a FWD car. Just grab up a big olde handful of E-Brake. (as long as it's adjusted correctly)

 

Yeah well in a NA it is going to be nearly impossible.

I was truly only able to smoke my tires in my 1995 850 NA when it was wet outside. I did however once break the tires loose when I accidently put the car in Neutral and didn't know it and was putting on the gas going nowhere and then slammed it into drive.
