Broken bolt in aluminum head

Default Broken bolt in aluminum head
I broke the bolt off my 2004 Volvo xc90s tensioner pulley, is there any possible way to get it out?

there are bolt extraction tools - just search Amazon, Harbor Freight etc. You'll need to drill into the bolt (use a carbide bit) then insert the tool into that hole

I can’t get to it with a bolt extraction kit, I was hoping there was a way without taking the whole motor out

sorry it doesn't look like there's enough of the stud protruding to grab it or even weld onto it. those tricks work when there's a bit of a nub and your's looks like its recessed.

Are we looking at a bracket attached to the engine or part of the engine block?
