Does anyone know if it possible to replace turn signal bulbs with higher wattage bulbs or LED bulbs.
I am thinking of doing this on a 2014 XC70.
Brighter signals should be safer.
Any suggestions or thoughts would be helpful.

You may get the bad flicker or they might just not work. Any bulb that would trigger a bulb out message when it dies usually can't be replaced with LED because of the computers looking for certain resistances. They do have anti-flicker units you wire into the power, but they don't all work. Im pretty sure those LED bulbs are like $25 however I feel like the regular bulbs are bright enough. I put LED bulbs in my DRL bulb slot on my car, but theres no bulb check for them.
