Hi. C 70 2.4 Gt 2005 - convertible

I am having a problem with hood opening not fully completing - works fine until the last one inch of opening then stops before it opens flush and covers are slightly raised. I have checked to see if hood is folding correctly which it is but can not get it to complete operation flush to bodywork (flap covers are up about an inch)
Any ideas?

 

Can't say for sure but there are several sensors in the area into which the roof is deposited (lets call it the roof well).

There are two on the back shelf that raises up and they have micro switches mounted on plastic blocks - they can be a little fragile.

There are at least two more, one on each motor.

You could look at these, but maybe you have it sorted by now (hopefully!)
