C70 Hardtop STOPPED working
Hello everyone,
I am hoping someone can give me some helpful advise on how to solve the problem of why my hardtop has suddenly failed during the process of lowering it down?? I have checked the fuse (#15) under the hood, it is fine (not blown). I am at a loss of what to try next. I covered the car with a large tarp in case it rains and tried contacting a couple different auto interior and convertible top repair shops near me, but have been given the same response by all of them , "Sorry, but we don't work on Volvo's here, you'll have to call the Volvo dealership Service Dept for this." Well NO ****!! Any idiot could have figured that one out!! I need a fix or solution that's DIY if possible, because, #1 I AM ON A FIXED SOCIAL SECURITY INCOME AND CAN'T AFFORD VOLVO DEALERSHIP and #2 I CAN'T DRIVE IT WITH THE TOP HALFWAY DOWN!!! If anyone has ANY IDEAS OR SUGGESTIONS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP!!!!!
Thanks a bunch everyone!!
