I have a 1999 v70 wagon and am wondering if anyone has experience with code readers for this model and could offer advice. I'm having trouble finding info on this topic that is applicable to the 1999 v70 specifically.

I'm a bit of a DIY'er. Is it worth picking one of these up?

I had experienced that the sometimes the codes came out from the aftermarket scanner are different then the codes that I put out from vida. and it could be a totally different things too. + functions of the aftermaket scanner are so limit, it does not help much when it comes to diagnosis. My suggestion is don't even waste your money on the aftermarket scanner, they could only read & clear the codes.
