cooling fan problem

Default cooling fan problem
2003 S40 1.9 eng. all symptoms of a cooling sensor. I replaced it but problem still exists. Cooling fan comes on when cold then turns off but does not come on when temperature goes up.

does it behave differently with the AC on or off?

yes except the the fans are turning. Just pulled a code p0125. Eng won't run. Stumbles for a few seconds then dies.

now throwing check engine light. That's how I pulled the code. P0115. P0118 .PO125

only that the fans are on. Acts like a blown head without the white smoke
