RE: cruise control
Hello Sir,
I'm sorry about the CRZ CTRL.
Please note, that I'm an 850 driver and am not privy to the 940 lineup. Until 940 drivers show up, all I can suggest is that there may be a problem within the electrical system, likely the relay or the switch. 850s use relay for crz ctrl but am not sure if the setup for 940 is similar.
Anyway, please wait till people with better knowledge reply with accurate solutions.

RE: cruise control
You can check the brake pedal switch. It has an electrical part, and a vacuum part.
I believe it vents vacuum when the switch is depressed, and also disconnects a power supply to the cruise control unit when the switch is depressed.
The switch may be out of adjustment.
Good Luck
