cylinder change
hi guys,does anyone know how volvo changed the compression in the 850 t5 engine??? i need to replace the cylinder head on my lump but can only find a non turbo head in my nearest breakers!!! any help very much appreciated!!!! thanks guys....

The B5234T is based on the B5254 engine.
The B5234T Cylinder capacity is 2319cc with a cylinder diameter of 81mm, stroke of 90mm and a compression ratio 8.5:1.
The B5254 Cylindercapacity is 2435cc with a cylinder diameter of 83mm, stroke of 90mm and a compression ratio of 10.5:1.
The cylinder head for the B5324T is Volvo part # 8111178 which is also listed as a replacement part fo the B5254 engine. However, several other heads are listed for the latter so you will need to find the head part number to be sure.
