Hello!
Got S60 2002\03 D5 ! All was ok till yesterday evening when tried to start car! It did start ok but straight away got very loud knocking\tapping\rattling noise from top of the engine! hard to describe it its like diesel noise but that knocking you get on all diesels it was 10x louder!
So today I was rrady to find problem!
1.I took 1st top engine cover of and everyting was black and oily(black partly dried oil)
2.pulled all injectors out! 1\2\5 was covered with oil( I think they should be dry as dessert!!
3. Took next cover off where the gasket is! Gasket wasn't perfect! by the looking figured out that's why injectors wasn't dry(possible)
4. Check everything I could !all rockers good and everything is tight and no loose things! I did spin the engine from nut on belt to chek all way round! But nothing all good!

Now I don't know what to do! Is those injectors on fault?is it possible? Or maybe valve been burned up? Next thing is to put new incetor washers and pipes and new gasket ! And then read the code!
anyone have any experience with something like this??

 

oh i found it out,

open car, sit in it,
puch on left button the one from T1 and T2 hold it,
then put contact on contact 2, still hold the left botton, untill you see the orange popping up.
then you hear the sound that it has reset, worked for me !
