I would like to add a dash cam to my 2018 XC60 T8 E-AWD Inscription but I am concerned about the installation. The dash cam I am interested in purchasing is called an "Owl Car Cam" and will be released in March of this year. The Owl dash cam and a video on the installation of the dash cam are at https://owlcam.com. In the video, it explains that the dash cam is installed by connecting it into the Onboard Diagnostic (OBDII) socket. If the OBDII socket is used would it adversely affect any of the systems on my Volvo? Thank you for your reply.
