Default Double DIN after market stereo in my 960? Wont work? Help!

So anybody who has ever read a post from me will quickly know that one of my biggest problems is purchasing things without doing any research. Well I've done it again. I purchased a brand new aftermarket double din mp3 player for my 1996 Volvo 960 thinking that as long as I got a double din head unit, I wouldnt have to deal with the cheap look of the single din unit in a double din slot..no offense to those who have theirs set up this way, I just dont like it. The radio arrived today, and appears to be too small for the opening in my car..I figured this wouldnt be a huge problem, I would just get an install kit..but I cant find one for my car!! I know people have put aftermarket double dins in their Volvos, because Ive seen pictures. Help!! If anybody knows where to find an install kit, or how they made their own, PLEASE let me know. Links, pictures, instructions, ANYTHING are all welcome at this point. I also bought a pair of 4 way 6 1/2" speakers to replace the ones in the rear doors because they are blown..already found out this isnt going to be an east task either! Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I can be contacted directly at DspeedracerC02@aol.com. Thanks!!
