I own a 2001 Volvo S60. I bought the car used in order to register it in my name it has to pass smog. I have been having all of the Dashboard Lights far as the ABS check engine service engine soon and the STS steering light come on and go off randomly on their own sometimes too will come on sometimes three sometimes one sometimes none of them come on. Not too long ago my passenger side headlight went out I replaced the light but it wasn't the problem then my driver side headlight went out the high beams work but the low beams don't. I'm guessing that it's my electronic control module that's causing these issues I went to the park chart and pulled a new one when I put it on and replaced it my car wouldn't start after looking at it further it's because they're Vin specific to each car can I make the one that I pulled from the parts yard work on my car if so what kind of software I don't want to go to the dealer I don't have that kind of money or I would have just went in the first place please help thank you very much
