front seat leather replacement & SIPs

"I am looking at purchasing a used, high mileage 2002 C70 which has had the the drivers side leather replaced. I had a 98 C70 which had leather wear issues so I don't believe this was the result of a wreck. I am concerend that the SIP's will function properly - some require special threads placed in a certain manner in the inseam - Do you know if this is true with Volvo's?"

Please note that I'm not privy to the C70s, but will provide info from the 850 manual. Please see attached. However, please note that the manual is strictly designed for 850s and should be used as reference only. For specific procedures, you may need to find a manual for C70 or have SRS-related services at a shop.
