Hello. i have a s60 model 2001 2.4 100,000 km, and i am facing the following problem. in the area where the pedals are, i am feeling a great heat which is not comming from the air-intake .the same heat is also at the next to the driver's seat. when i touch the plastic near the gear box is very hot. AC is working OK. However due to the heat, AC feels weak.

i hv tried to increase thickness of ins. between engine room and passager does not work... no idea too.
