Heated seats
Heated seats are generally reliable, as they are simple devices. There were a couple of threads in the past in the 850 forum, and I remember providing a wiring diagram. Heated seat-related problems are usually switch, relay, fuse, electrical connection or heating element related. There aren't that many things-to-avoids, as far as I know. Perhaps you should avoid cutting the seat in half, water it, etc...[8D]
It definitely is a nice feature, especially for those who live in colder regions.

Just to clarify -I'm up inMA where the daily temps arn't getting above 30 (F) so I'm using my heated seats just about daily. Is that ok. They're both working and correctly turn themselves off after "optimal tempature is reached" <- from manual. (although the light is still on and button is depressed)
So, not to worry then - I'll assume I'm using them correctly - as if there was a wrong way?

My 98 S70GLT doesnt have switch to control it from low to high, gets way too hot sometimes.

Thethermostat isn't working, you're going to have to check under her seat.

Feels like home.
