Default Help

Hi guys,

I have just bought a 2009 eco v50. It drives like a dream but the other day I had a message come up on dash saying break skidding needed a service. It then came up a few days later with break error and it put the car into limp mode. I have taken it to a garage and we can't find anything wrong with it. Anyone got any ideas?? 😩

Also I can't seem to change the info on the dash it only give me dtsc on or off that's it.

Ps I have also checked the secret codes bottom and nothing comes up.

Thanks

Gutted volvo lover

I'd think that if you got an warning the computer has a stored fault code. With that said, not all OBD2 code readers read all the codes (ie chassis codes that not emissions related). You may want to stop by a Volvo dealer or a Volvo trained indy to see if they can scan for all stored codes.
