Help me
Alright heres my problem. I currently own a S80, good car. My situation is that my left turn signal does NOT turn off. the light stays lit when the lights come on. This has happened in the past, but usually went away after a couple of hours of not running the engine. Couple days ago i noticed that it has been on even when i start the car in the morning. When the keys are out, i turn the parking lights on the the left side is brighter than the one the right side. i switch the turn signal lever to the left it does not flash on the car, the right side flashes and works like it should. Someone please guide me so that i can fix this without taking to the dealer, because i will be trading it in for a 2003 model T6, i dont want Volvo to try to hold me for that. All help is greatly appriciated.
Try removing the bulb and inspecting it. The connections on the end might have melted some and melted together. If so replace the bulb and you should be fine.
Also be careful trying to remove the socket and bulb. I have seen some of the light assembly's get melted and the bulb won't fit out of the hole.

Ill try that, but today the front corner light burned out on me, i will be replacing it in the next couple of days, should i buy OE bulbs, or some at Napa or Schucks, dont know which ones would work better, because my car is kinda picky on almost anything i replace.
I was at 2 different Dealers for 5 years and Now I am at a Indipandent shop for 8 or so Months.
I started working on car at age 13 at home. We never had money to get them fixed so I decided to learn how to fix them and get them going again to save from Walking. That was 19 years ago.
To me they are the easiest to work on and I love doing what I do.
I also like doing what I do here. I help people that are like I was.
