Help with a raspy whining noise when pressing the accelerator
Hi
have an XC90 2015 inscription, full Volvo service history and no issues of substance up until this point.
I am getting to the 94,000 miles mark and after a long journey this week when I got in the car the following day I noticed a slight which can only be described as raspy whining noise when accelerating. A bit like when as a child you stuck cardboard in the wheels of your bicycle however very slight but noticeable.
I took the car on the motorway no problems and the noise went away. When I am at lower speeds 20 - 30 mph the noise is present. When I am coasting downhill at 30mph it is present and when I am parked in neutral pressing the accelerator slightly it is present then as well.
does anyone have any ideas what this could be?
thanks
