I was wondering what's the best and the cheapest way to fix the scratch on my car. My 2009 Volvo S40 was keyed, and the scratch expands from the headlight all the way to the trunk area. The scratch is pretty deep in the front area. I know nothing about cars, so please help me. Thanks!

 

For a scratch as you describe, I would never do it myself. If you carry comprehensive coverage on your auto insurance policy, that would be your best bet.

 

I would go to a good auto-body shop and get it done by professionals.

A 2009 is a NEW car...get it done right by people that know how.

Now I repaired a keying on my 91 Volvo by using aerosol touch up paint
