[:@]in removing my right ball joint i was forced to use a chizle and hammer to get it out and install a new drive shaft.after reassembly i found i had movement in my wheel from right to left .do you think i ruined the ball joint or screwed up some other part of the job. thanks muchly

 

If it is from right to left that should be either inner or outer tie rod.
Top to bottom play will be balljoint.
