****EDIT****
My wife must have posted that since I did not and she is more upset about the situation than I am. I guess I should learn to logout![Wink](https://volvoforums.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Champion Ford in Erie, PA is not a bad shop to go to for Volvo repairs, but the staff is fairly new at the Volvo line and it's a learn as you go deal there. The labor rate is very high ($90.00 per hr) and it is usually best to drop the vehicle for a few days since parts availability and other issues slow things down.
It is a flat-rate shop and most of us know how that works in this business, so yeah.

Johnny,
Thanks for the tip, I'll be sure to inform of it to my friends who live in PA.
I really wish you the best in finding a place where they recognise your value. Customer service is indeed important, but I strongly feel that taking good care of employees is just as important. If people are not treated right and being treated like crap, it won't do anyone any good.
I will be waiting for your return with good news.
All the best,
Kanji Kotaki/JPN

European Select
5217 Davis Blvd Ste A
North Richland Hills, TX 76180
(817) 581-7500
These guys are the best I've found (your search may vary). Volvo cert., also does Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar (if you don't mind them saying "didn't we warn you?"), and Rolls. Only OEM parts, not cheap but outstanding quality and honesty. Well worth the price and much closer than Autobahn if you live in Colleyville or Southlake.
As an aside, instead of a "key drop" in the door they have a Lexus LS parked by the door with the drivers window open a few inches (they obviously are not fans of Japanese auto so). It was a nice car when they parked it there 3 or 4 years ago - was.
