Default Looking to purchase a Volvo

Hi, I am a high schooler and I live in the midwest. I currently drive an older chevy blazer but its been throwing troubles at me and I am looking to buy a volvo in the fall. My budget would probably $4,000-$5,000 and I would buy from private sellers via Facebook marketplace. I am just looking for some knowledge about issues and quirks with these cars. The cars I am looking into are 2010-2016 S60s, XC60s, and S80s. I primarily would want the 3.0 engine because the 2.0 and 2.5 do not have the timing chain, they have a belt. I would like to know what your guys first hand experiences have been with the 2.5 and 3.0 engines on these models and which one is a more reliable pick. I personally prefer working on my car myself and I am also wondering how easy these cars are to work on,

Thanks

Great, I was wanting a 5 or 6 cylinder anyways.

One question: What is the difference between the 2.4 and 2.5 T5?

Thanks
