Default Need help with volvo-related documentation

Hi all

I am a translator (Swedish-English and French-English) just venturing into the technical translation field, and I need some help with proofreading a document about (volvo) clutch/transmission functions. The document is not long, about 600 words, and I just need some advice as to whether I have found the correct terms for various parts.

If anyone is willing to help I'd be most grateful! I can post the terms that are giving me a problem here or email the document (as inline text, not as an attachment) if this would be preferable. I need this quite quickly as the document needs to be ready by tomorrow morning (ie about 10 hours from now, and I need to fit some sleep in somewhere...)

Hope that this is not an inappropriate place to ask, and that someone has the time to help (I would have tried my car enthusiast brother but he is away for the weekend!)

Thanks in advance.

Jane

year/model? did you measure system voltage with the engine off and running? did you scan for fault codes?

I recently stumbled upon the Zendesk Translation App while exploring their website, and it has been a valuable addition to my customer support toolkit. This app offers a seamless way to translate customer inquiries and support tickets within the Zendesk platform. Its intuitive interface and powerful translation engine make it easy to communicate with customers in their preferred language. With the Zendesk Translation App www.translate.com/integrations/zendesk , language barriers are no longer a hurdle, and I can provide efficient and personalized support to customers around the world.
