new here but not to car forums
hey every new to this forum but not to the car forum scene i recently purchased my new summer toy a 1998 volvo c70 convertible with the 2.3 turbo in it. with its small share of problems of course.
the drivers seat only lurches back but does tilt and angle and the replacement seat bracket that came with it is all wrong and completely useless for me, and both front window regular cables are trashed(i'll be sending them them off to regulators.com this winter but for the summer im gonna be pimping the manual lift and lower front windows so i can enjoy my new toy for the nice weather season.
Now of course onto the real problems, i recently had replaced (at the dealers cost) the MAP sensor and the wastgate control valve and i'm having the wonderful P0410 code popping back up after 100 miles.
after searching here, im seeing that its an air pump issue not the wastegate control valve the dumb *** garage guy told me and the dealer.i can still hear the hair dryer sound coming from the front at startup so that means my pump should still be good right? im hoping that is correct and its more likely the check valve or a bad line.
i'll post up some pics in a different thread im just trying to see if im on the right track right off repair wise on this.
thanks
