Hi there, new to this and thought that more experienced voices can help me out! I bought my '04 xc90 almost 2 months ago at a dirt cheap price knowing it needed a bit of work. I have mostly had it in the shop since I bought it and have replaced a number of ting but I am still having the same type of issues with her.
So, the main problem when bought was that it shook pretty good when sitting in idle or accelerating and was leaking oil. I replaced all the spark plugs, when hooked up to the reader it said SP 3 misfiring and we knew they were filling with the leaking oil. I replaced the PVC system, fixed the oil leak. I replaced the fuel injectors, it has a brand new battery and I replaced the alternator.
With all this done, my XC90 is still acting up. It has like, 0 power. Almost acts like its going to stall out on acceleration but just creeps until it feels like working again then jumps back to life. The problem resurfaces numerous times while driven. PLEASE HELP!!! I have been thinking maybe its the fuel filter? Any advice would be helpful at this point bc im at my wits end!
