Another noob here, so please forgive the post if this sounds like the topic has been explored ad nauseum before.
My problem has to do with my 98 S70 GLT not having an INFO switch for all that cool stuff like mpg, average consumption etc...

So the question is: is this because it came origianlly without one, or has there been a mod sometime before I got the car?

If there is no switch by default, is it feasible to install one? Does this model come with the hardware installed by default, needing only a switch to get that function, or is it easier to simply forget about it altogether and focus instead on stuff like a performance ECU?

If you don't have it now I believe you would need the dealer to activate the function in the car after buying the switch.
