Here are some pics of my Volvos. I drive the white S60 and we just purchased the black 850 for my son. S60 is in need of a washing but it's just too darn hot here in KY for that. Tahoe in the background is used to pull my bass boat. White Camry is my daughters car and the Equinox is my wifes. Oh yeah, there's a yellow 77 Corvette in the garage.

Looks good. The look of the S60 is starting to grow on me. I kind of liked it when it first came out, but the more I see of them the more I like them. I still prefer the looks of the 850 though. Just so unique.

 

The 850 & S70 are my second favorite styles. The 700 series never did anything for me IMHO. 240's have aged well and I still like. The S60 has been my favorite. It was just the right size, the 40 was a little too small and the 80 looked bloated. However, the 07 S80 has been scuplted and trimmed down and is the best looking S80 I've seen. By the way, drove the 850 all weekend and it ran wonderfully and I got 30 MPG.

 

Can't beat that. I never liked the 240 until recently. Thought the 760/740 series was OK looking, but the 850 still looked like a Volvo, but did just enough to make it look like a modern car that doesn't look like an egg. Almost all the cars in the 90's looked like eggs to me. Couldn't tell a Ford from a Chevy from a Mercedes, but you could always tell a Volvo.

 

JimKW., I agree. I really like the rear spoiler on your 850. I found an original 850 spoiler on ebay (already painted black) that I picked up. Probably going to wrap it up and give it to my son as a Christmas present. Looking to get the windows tinted, not only because it looks cool but it also keeps the UV rays from getting to the interior so much. Also, what size wheels and tires do you have on your white 850? The 15" on my sons look a little too small. Would love to upgrade to a larger diameter, if we can afford to. Also, do you get any rubbing with the larger tires? Thinking about putting a gold pinstripe down the side also. CD changer and K & N airfilter will be added soon.

 

Well actually I have 15" wheels on the white car now and the 17" you see in my signature are on the yellow car. The spoiler on the white car is really cool. It has a turned up end that is grey like the trim. I wouldn't mind finding one like that for the yellow car and painting it. On my 17" wheels I have 215 45 17's. The size called for is 205 45 17's so don't go any bigger than the 215's. I get a little rubbing, but not much. The wheels I like the best are the 17" Pegasus wheels.

The 17"Titanscame standard onthe on theT5R (yellow one), but they bend way too easy.The wheelsyou see on the white one are called Volans. There is a set of five of them for sale over on volvospeed.com for $700. I like the looks of them 2nd best.Pegasus and Titans look almost the same. They are a five spoke wheel, while the Volans are a seven spoke and they have the anthracite finish. You definitely what the anthracite finish on a black car. The spoiler will make it look way better in my opinion. Some people don't like the spoiler though.

I'll continue to update. Still shopping for speakers to replace some of the busted ones. After seeing RedTurbos car on another thread am planning to dye the rub strips down the sides and around the bumpers black, instead of gray. That, along with getting the windows tinted should enhance the look. Once those things done I'll post additional pictures. Appreciate the kind comments.
