about 2 months ago my passenger side power seat stopped working. today my driver side power seat stopped working. my driver's side floor in front and back has been wet since summer (which i just read is most likely due to the sunroof drainage tube being blocked) and i am wondering if that has something to do with the power seat? though the passenger side floor has never been wet so it doesn't seem likely that this is the cause. both seat heaters still work fine. any ideas?

 

Hi Jenny, welcome to the forum.

What have you done to try to figure out why the power seats do not work? Does any of the functions work? Do they recline? Up or down? Fore or aft? Have you checked the fuses? Is there anything in the way?

What do you mean floor wet? Does the wetness have an odor, like antifreeze? Could be a heater core leak?

BTW, what kind of car do you have? Toyota? Volvo? If Volvo, what model? 850? S40?

yup.......??? the moderator does the right question.....which car do you own and what exactly the configurations are......? until and unless your car model is known what is the way to tell you the solution... i have Toyota...what yours???
